Probably one of Mexico’s most underrated artists, is a musician, copywriter and screenwriter. Throughout his struggling music career, he’s developed a very peculiar style that’s recognized for its nasty lyrics as well as its genre-busting sound, influenced by hip hop, trip hop, acid jazz, dub and electronica. Prior to his solo career, in the mid 2000s he joined the band , playing the sax for a brief stint. This led him to perform in venues such as Rockotitlán, Manifest Festival and Vive Latino. A few years later, his friend , leader of rock band invited him to collaborate on his side project , on the track “I'll See You at the Gate” from the album , distributed by EMI Music Mexico. In 2013, they worked together again on the track “La Migra del Beat” as part of a Record Store Day compilation. Finally in 2016, released his EP on digital platforms, without any commercial success, but gradually gaining recognition as a cult favorite among those in the know. The album features collaborations with artists such as , Goma, , , Saverio Giandusa, and . In 2018 he co-wrote and performed a song conceived especially for Yankee, an original Netflix series, and in 2019 , the opening track of , was selected as part of the soundtrack for the film Territorio, available on Amazon Prime Video.
